Workshops
Workshops are usually one or two days in duration
and focus on a specific topic or theme. Themed groups are usually limited to 8
participants in order to allow each person to have adequate discussion /
participation time. An example of a themed group might be a small group who meet
once a week to focus on a specific issue such as self esteem. The structure of
the group sessions includes a combination of education, experiential exercises,
discussion and sharing of individual experiences.
Other topics may include, but are not limited to:
“Your Second Fifty” - experiencing and balancing your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual domains after fifty years of age.
“Forgive Me” - developing a structure within the family to improve communication and reduce tension, disputes and violence.
“Self-esteem” - understanding our self destructive behavior and the options available to bring back a positive balance into our life.
Seminars
Seminars vary in size, theme and structure,
depending on the nature of the material being discussed. Seminars provide an
intellectual overview of the selected topic which are intended to spark the
interest for those in attendance so that they might attend workshops or pursue
their own personal experiences. Topics may include, but are not limited to:
“Your Second Fifty” - becoming aware of the options for balancing
your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual domains after fifty years of age.
“Forgive Me” - becoming aware of the options available to improve communication and reduce tension, disputes and replace them with love within the family.
